Corry's off button

As you can see Corry does have an off button. He amazes me in how and where he falls asleep. One minute he was watching a movie with me the next he was fast asleep. He was sleeping so soundly that he was snoring. Hmmmm maybe I should try this? Naw

A helping hand

When I look at this picture it speaks volumes to me. This tiny little hand nestled inside of the big one reminds me of hope. A hope that if we reach out someone will be there to help us. A hope that if we reach out we can trust someone to be there in times of need, suffering, and even in times of great joy. Take a moment and look at the larger hand. If you look closely you can see that it appears to be a hand of a older or more wiser woman. This woman takes care of herself her nails are trimmed, fingers are clean. I imagine that her skin is soft from the use of lotion. She has taken time to do all of these things to be worthy of being the support of such a little hand, a new baby hand. A little hand full endless possibilities. This hand has a hope and a future. If you take a moment and reflect and place your hand in the hand of one who created you. You also have a hope and a future. What an amazing promise God has for us. He sent someone who made himself worthy to hold our hand. We just need to reach out and accept his out strecthed one. I am willing are you? Blessings to your day and remember that your are love by the King Most High.

FUN!

When people ask me how I like school I usually respond with I love it!!. I really mean when I say it. Yes I have those days when wow all I can do is hang on for dear life. The days when math is my Goliath and I am David. Well, we know how that story turned out. I truly feel blessed to be able to go to school, without him it couldn't have been possible. I am thankful every day that I am there. I am starting to settle in and get the hang of things; starting to make friends. I really believe that God gave me a new mission field. I am praying for a boldness of faith. I truly want to answer his call and became a fisher of men. Please join me in prayer that we both have that boldness to further the Kingdom of God. Blessings to you and remember that you are loved by the King Most High

English

My English teacher is what one would call interesting. When she is speaking to the class she likes to have her body turned toward the window and look outside while she is talking. I sit in the back and keep looking out the window to see what is so interesting out there. So, far just trees and farmland. I asked a fellow friend, who happens to be an English teacher about this, "she said this quite normal and that your teacher is collecting her thoughts." Hmmm? This got me to thinking that maybe if I stop and focus not on myself, but on God. That I will not turn my face away from him and that I will give him my full attention. It will give me a new understanding on what God wants for me. Just think to really be able to listen to him and reap the benefit from it. Wow! Blessings and remember that you are loved by the King Most High, Missie

See you in three days.

Hello friends, I am taking three days off from blogging because I will be fasting the use of the Internet for social intent.  My Church is a taking part of what is called Consecration.  This is a time where we fast and go into prayer to get closer to God.  It is an exciting time and one will be able to hear from God on a deeper level.  To get into his presence on this level is utterly amazing.  To open yourself up to him and feel his love for you is such a blessing.  I will be asking God to give me a clear direction for my life.  I will be in thanksgiving for all that he has provided for me. Blessings to your week and I will chat with you on Saturday.

I am in trouble..

I am in trouble was my first thought that came to mind, as my computer teaching started showing me how to create folders. I know this may sound a little small thing to you but, I have never taken a computer class before. I am thinkg much prayer is needed for this class. Now before each class I will be asking God to give me a sound mind and a clarity of thought. I am the Persitant Widow and I will keep pressing in. Blessings to your day and remember that your are loved by the King Most High.
